Again i have been really slack about getting on here and posting. Ethan is good, 21 months old now. Hes talking heaps but its not always clear. He can name cat, dog, frog, cow and make the appropriate noises for them, He is constantly dragging me to the front door saying "gollygocar, gollygocar" which is how he tells me he wants to go in the car.... (got to go in car) He also says "there it is" (although it all kinda merges into one word) This morning he came into our room, up to johns side of the bed and said "Hi Daddy" really prefectly and clear, I said to john awwww that was beautiful and he agreed. Ethan just has the sweetest little voice, and I love him so much. The other day the Mr Whipy truck came down our road so we went and got a cone each. (it was the first time hes had a whole icecream to himself) We sat out on the back steps eating our icecreams, His eyes were like saucers and he had the hugest grin and kept saying Wow, wow wow between mouthfuls. It was like watching the essence of summer. Weve been pretty busy round here as usual (nothing ever changes) I have been studying last year (while still also looking after Dominic fulltime too) And just befor christmas completed the Certificate in Early hildhood Education and Care (level 3) Once that was out of the way and christmas and holidays etc (went camping on a friends farm) then it was time to get onto organising the Landrover club training day again (Its on this coming Sunday), this year we decided to run it slightly earlier int he year to try avoid the crap wether, and weve also changed the format slightly. We have also written a booklet (though most of it taken from 4wdrive manuals) to be handed out to participants and also to new club members. Ive also arranged a driveway safety kit which shows about blindspots etc and we have use of the wormald fire trailer which has info on fireextingishers and the chance for people to practice with them on a real fire. The day may also be covered in the Northshore times (local newspaper)
Other news is I may be returning to work (just waiting to hear payoffer before I decide for sure. Hadnt planned to but one of my customers when I worked at Roverland tracked me down and want me to come work for them, will be working in lanrover parts again plus helping out in office. It will be parttime and I have been able to choose my hours and how many days i want to work. But as I said just waiting to hear about pay. However ive been looking at daycares for Ethan in case it does go ahead and have found one i like that has space when i would need it. They (the job) is also really flexible for when they want me to start which is great.
